remembering.

we traveled today. to goldfield. my grandmother's home town. we had an adventure. we stopped at eagle-grove's beautiful greenhouse, visited my great-grandparents memorials, stopped at the cheese mart and finished off the morning with a trip to the park my grandma used to play in. i love visiting. it's nostalgic and happy. enjoy your weekend. and celebrate.

so. these happen to be one of my all-time favorite couples in the world. we decided to take some pretty photo's for their fifth anniversary. the pictures show them well--laughing and having a good time. it's nice when you find friends that can laugh. its a good trait. enjoy.

vacation anyone?

summer is coming---along with warmer weather and longer days come the exciting prospect of new adventures. my siblings and our grandma took a week-long trip to colorado last summer. it was a summer of memories--remember old and creating new.

tenley got to feed a hungry giraffe at the cheyenne mountain zoo.

tenley is overlooking one of many amazing views at 11-mile park deep in the mountains of colorado--if you make a trip--make sure you go. nothing but nature.

we visited santa's workshop--a theme park that has been there since the 40's (along with most of the rides). this is the world's tallest ferris wheel (its on a mountain). i was terrified to ride--but the worker let me me down after going around just once. :)

hello spring.

you know when you meet someone and they have no idea how beautiful they are? my little sister cheyanne is among one of those lucky teenagers. i hope she realizes soon enough that she has so many gifts--one of them photography!--and can put them all to good use. here is a little preview of the fun we had in the backyard saturday. enjoy this fragrant season. love.
